Our story

In 2019, chef and owner Michael Thorne moved to the Greencastle area to be closer to family. With years of experience in the culinary and hospitality industries, Mike saw an opportunity to create a local restaurant centered around fresh ingredients, made-from-scratch recipes and plenty of choices.

Our location has been part of the community’s dining history for decades, from its early days as Hill Crest Restaurant to the Lizzy’s guests know today. We respect that history while bringing new energy, creativity and flavor to the table.

The way you like it

Our made-to-order burgers and cheeseburgers start with fresh, never-frozen beef. Pair your favorite with fresh-cut fries, or explore our cheesesteaks, sandwiches and slow-smoked BBQ. Save room for hand-dipped ice cream, sundaes and milkshakes.

We want every visit to feel welcoming, with generous portions and food made with care. Prefer to stay in your car? With our car-side service, we can take your order and payment at your car and bring your food out. We can bring an existing takeout order to your car, too.
